BRIEF HISTORY OF THE MINISTRY
The Ministry of Science & Technology, Delta State was created on 17th August, 2007 out of Ministry of Commerce & Industry by His Excellency, Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan, the Former Governor of Delta State in order to strengthen the already existing thrust of Government towards enhancing Science & Technology Development.
VISION:
To achieve a Science and Technology led development that would fully create, innovate, invent and adapt meaningful and strong industrial linkages driven by brain power, skills and diligence capable of providing sustainable high quality of life for Deltans.
MISSION:
Our Mission is to promote a Science and Technology driven economy based on innovation that are capable of generating powerful spin-offs (micro-companies).
