BRIEF HISTORY OF THE MINISTRY
The Ministry of Science & Technology, Delta State was created on 17th August, 2007 out of Ministry of Commerce & Industry by His Excellency, Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan, the Former Governor of Delta State in order to strengthen the already existing thrust of Government towards enhancing Science & Technology Development.
To achieve a Science and Technology led development that would fully create, innovate, invent and adapt meaningful and strong industrial linkages driven by brain power, skills and diligence capable of providing sustainable high quality of life for Deltans.
Our Mission is to promote a Science and Technology driven economy based on innovation that are capable of generating powerful spin-offs (micro-companies).
Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates for admission into the Information and Communication Technology Youth Empowerment Programme (ICT-YEP) at the Delta State Innovation Hub, Asaba, through the Ministry of Science and Technology, Delta State

OGHENEOBUKOME EMERGES BEST SCIENCE STUDENT IN DELTA
Tuesday 2nd March 2021, Delta State Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon. Matthew Tsekiri has declared 17 years old Ejaife Ogheneobukome of DSC Technical High School as the 2021 best student in the Delta State Governor’s Young Scientist competition.
